The player will navigate through a series of mazes. As the mazes grow in complexity so do the movements. Initially, the player only moves in one dimension with constant velocity. By the end, the player will be moving with acceleration, in two dimensions, able to launch themselves as a projectile, and break through walls (with enough force). They will, of course, do this all while paying very close attention to units!
The initial release is aimed at high school and college physics students taking a mechanics class. This game will be used by students as a way to prepare, practice, and study mechanics in an effort to do better in the course.
The game will be playable in your computer’s browser window. You also might be able to download it on your computer. You might also be able to play it on your phone.
Either way, you will have to pay for it, but it will not be more than $15.
If our initial release goes well, we will do another game for electricity and magnetism students by 2018. If our initial release does not go well, we will go back to the drawing board and try again!
